6 Much-awaited Futuristic Concept Cars from Tesla to Look Out For

Popular car manufacturers are launching cars for the future that offer innovative technologies, slightly out of the box features and distinctive styling. These concept vehicles are most often exhibited at auto shows to gauge car enthusiasts’ response. There are some much-anticipated Tesla concept cars that car enthusiasts should look out for in 2022. Tesla Cybertruck is one such vehicle that is long-awaited to be launched and it is expected to be officially released next year. Motorists have been waiting for this futuristic pickup from Tesla and just four models have been sold so far by the automaker. However, in the near future Tesla owner, Elon Musk has grand plans for expanding the line of future cars. In addition, some other cars of future by Tesla include a Semi-truck, Van, Supercar, and electric ATV that are expected to arrive next year.

Tesla Cybertruck

With its arrival in 2019, the Tesla Cybertruck caused a steady stir when it was showcased that supposedly featured bulletproof windows. The unconventional styling of the pickup has a lasting impression on the onlookers. Car enthusiasts loved the bold and futuristic look of the vehicle and describing it as something out of a primitive video game. In addition, the sharp corners of the Cybertruck polarized everyone and thought how it may affect pedestrians during a crash or accident.

Some of the car enthusiasts that wish to buy the Tesla Cybertruck included a young 12-year-old girl who shared the tools and steps for creating the project, making $1.6 million from her NFT collections. According to the car manufacturer, Tesla Cybertruck has been one of the most anticipated cars for the future that has attracted more than 500,000 non-binding preorders.

This concept car would be available in three configuration such as the tri-motor all-wheel drive, dual-motor all-wheel drive and single-motor rear-wheel drive. The driving range of the Tesla Cybertruck will be up to 500 miles and starting price is said to be $39,990.

Tesla Roadster

The Tesla Roadster was showcased in 2017 for the first time and Musk aimed to release it by 2020, and claimed it be the fastest production car ever made. This concept car will go from 0 to 100 mph in 4.2 seconds, with a top speed of more than 250 mph and accommodating four occupants. The Tesla electric vehicle has a driving range of 620 miles on a single charge that is more than any EV available in the car market.

The popular automaker has equipped the Roadster with compressed-air rocket thrusters to boost acceleration that can easily cover short trips. The Tesla Roadster will enter production in 2022 and will be priced at $200,000 or above.

Tesla Semi

The Tesla Semi is Musk’s classs 8 truck that remained in the production pipe since its announcement in 2017, like Roadster and Cybertruck. The launching dates of these best future cars have been changed multiple times, however, in July the automaker said that production will be started next year. With the prospect of a battery-powered tractor-trailer, Tesla Semi has garnered attention from car enthusiasts and major retailers who are eager to spend less of fuel and maintenance costs. As Tesla Semi would be running fully autonomously that would theoretically allow fleet owners to run trucks for long hours, without spending on labor.

Some of the popular retailers that have placed reservations for the Semi include FedEx, Anheuser Busch, Pepsi, UPS and Walmart. This much-anticipated Tesla Semi will offer 500 miles of range and starting price will be $180,000. In addition, the vehicle will also be available for $150,000 that will have 300-mile range.

Cheap Tesla EVs

The automaker has promised to decrease the prices of these best future cars and fully autonomous Tesla will be available at $25,000. Therefore, Tesla is all set for launching some cheap EVs in the near future to meet the demands of the car buyers. These budget-friendly future cars have been researched and developed in China, heading away for production by the end of 2021.

Tesla Cyberquad

The surprising announcement during the unveiling event of the Tesla’s Cybertruck was of the Cyberquad. This last-minute revelation by Tesla has taken car enthusiasts by surprise as there was not many details or anyone heard about the Tesla Cyberquad before that. The automaker has not provided details about the specifications, launching or pricing of the vehicle. However, some automotive reporters have shared that Tesla Cyberquad is much similar as the gas-powered Yamaha Raptor ATV. This two-person electric ATV is expected to be launched together with the Cybertruck as shared by the automaker. In addition, the Tesla Cyberquad will also be available as a pickup.

Tesla Van

Musk has shared the idea about Tesla Van for some time now and its anticipated look. The automaker said that Tesla Van would possibly be an electric vehicle that would come with an array of solar panels. It was further revealed by Elon Musk in an interview that this Tesla Van is planned for next year and this concept car is not exhibited due to lack of battery cell supply. However, Tesla is planning to develop the Van at some point in the near future as this high-capacity Tesla would be used to shuttle passengers. This Van could run along the networks of subterranean roadways built by a tunneling firm that Musk runs known as The Boring Company. Even though, Tesla has not announced much about this 12-person van for a future Boring tunnel.
