This vehicle features a large panoramic one way window that keeps everything hidden from the outside world. The inside is a living area that is fit for royalty. The side door runs in a circle and opens upwards to free one whole side of the vehicle, whereas the driver’s door opens to the rear in an upward motion.

Powered by a lithium-ion battery, the car has a very futuristic design with large doors and wide windshield screen. It features Nissan’s Around View Monitor system that actually makes it possible to eliminate blind spots, this is all thanks to its large screens that will give a better view of the world outside inside the cabin to the driver.

Since then, we have had the pleasure of seeing two more modifications of the vehicle. We saw the Nissan Pivo 2 in 2007. The Pivo 2 had rotating pod tyres that can rotate to 90 degrees and help the driver to part the car in any condition or situation. The car also came with a robotic companion inside the cabin, which was really cool.

The Nissan Pivo 3 was unveiled at the 2011 Tokyo Motor Show. This time, there was one seat at the front (the driver’s seat) and two seats behind it for the passengers. What was amazing about this car is the fact that it had Nissan’s Automated Valet Parking that basically helps the car park itself. While it is parked, the car will recharge itself as well. It can find suitable parking space and it can be maneuvered with a smart phone as well.

Sadly, we are pretty sure it will take many years to reach the production line, but the future is grim for this little car that makes parking a piece of cake for anyone who drives this autonomous vehicle that can move 360 degrees and has tires that can rotate 90 degrees.
